Okay, you all need to chill. You're that obsessed that you're like "Oh my GAWD! Look at her now!" I'm sure you girls aren't a bright ball of sunshine in the morning without make up. Neither am I. I wear a lot of eye liner, and Avril's style is one of my faves, all thought her music makes me gag. I still think that you should appreciate someone's character not to judge them by appearance. And besides that, just because she's a celebrity doesn't mean she's not human, or immortal, or any different from you. I'm sure you all could use a star make over. So just think it over, before you say stupid things like the previous.

I'm sorry guys, but I think you are all being rather harsh about this. I've seen the pictures and I don't think Avril Lavigne looks like a troll. Sure she looks a little washed-out and pale, but most women look a bit paler and plainer without their daily make-up application. It is very true that some stars look absolutely awful without their heavy, caked-on junk (why do you think it's caked-on? Because they look like crap without all of it!) but Avril is not one of them.

I tend to look slightly plain without my make-up, but after I've used my make-up (particularly eye-liner, mascara and lipstick) I look a hell of a lot different. It's almost like a miracle!!!
I think cosmetics are the most fabulous invention in the world, they really can work wonders on those grey Monday mornings, when you don't just look like shit, but FEEL like it as well. It's quite understandable how different the stars appear to look without their slap, because we are so used to seeing them all wearing tons of the stuff.

But Avril Lavigne looks alright without hers, she just looks like a plain, normal girl. Her skin doesn't look too bad either, so I'm sure Cameron Diaz is quite jealous! Leave the poor young lady alone, if you really want to make people laugh-why don't you show us BEFORE and AFTER pictures of you without your slap?

Avril is gorgeous with make-up...but yeh, she isn't too crash hot without it. But all pop-stars are like that *shrugs* who cares..she's hot in her clips, and that's all i care about. And yer her music doesn't relate much to her saying she's a "punk rocker" but her songs on her "Under My Skin" album aren't to bad. Her first album was abit daggy, the songs were amature and girly. Even though her second album isn't up to standards with everyone elses it's still a big improvment from her first by far. Her songs are catchy n all, but she's doing what all those grunge boy bands used to do...singing about being dumped n shit...That kinda sucks...and she needs better lyrics...try listening to A PERFECT CIRCLE...or..TOOL..then you'll know what real music is. This whole Avril think shouldn't be so steriotypical, see how all the fans care if the chick pop stars are "hot or not" where as...if its a guy band and the singer is fully ugly noone cares cause they listen to the music...Anyway, i kinda think she should shut up about being a full skater/punker chick n stuff...and be abit less fake in the way of that. I've seen these pictures many times before. I think Avril is gorgeous anyway. I went through that whol calling her a poser and whatnot phase... then I realized how dumb and judgemental that was. Now I'm more open-minded and I think you shouldn't judge her. And I actually don't remember her saying she was "punk." I started listening to her and I think she's great, although it's not my usual style of music. I usually like any type of rock. Her music is odd and different. New I guess. But anyway, I went to her acoustic free mall tour thing (where I saw two people I recognized from Tiger Army's concert) and she DID play the guitar.

It annoys me when people talk crap about her, especially girls who go on and on about her being ugly. I think she's very gorgeous and just about everyone thinks so. A lot of boys like her, which makes me think that the girls who talk crap feel a little threatened. A little jealous.

Looks aren't an important part of music though. It's all about how the music makes you feel. And well I can relate to every song on her new album and a couple from her old one. I like that I can relate to the music and as I hear the emotion she is portraying, I can feel that emotion too.

Avril doesnt look to good, but who does with NO make up? For those of you who say thats a fake picture, look at the nose... thats her, but who cares? She is 19 years old, and a huge star... she isnt perfect. Thats what make up was made for. She is pretty with make up. to tell you the truth, I dont know ONE person, who looks good without make up. I have seen pictures of her without make up that look worse than that. She has a pimple problem... she is always a teenager under stress. SHE CAN PLAY THE GUITAR (to whoever said she could) I have seen her live, and she is amazing live. She has a beatiful voice, who cares what she looks like without make up? She is a cute person, I have met her and she is such a funny girl. Lighten up. What if your picture without make up were posted all over the internet... you wouldnt be too happy. Leave her alone.

A) She isn't going out with him because shes 16/17 and he's 25 so it'd be illegal

B) Good Charlotte isn't punk... Good Charlotte is crappy pop on guitar played out by simple melodies of repeated chords. real punk is like the street Oi punk. Most punk died out after the 80's but an underground scene has managed to maintain their musical status (though I personally don't enjoy punk- at all)

As for Avril, shes pretty hot WITH make up, but without she looks like a diseased, drunk monkey. Make-up can cover a lot. Her music sucks... especially seeing that she didn't write any of it nor can she play a complete song. strumming e chord every once and a while isn't playing a guitar. Music is supposed to come from the inside.

oh yes, i definitely believe you. oh hail the "neighbor". I know those are old, but also, the picture in this post are old as well.

Also, i am aware that avril is pretty. and i would not be surprised that people should look at her. Everyone, however, does have ugly moments. It's also important to note that 17 yr olds (the time of these pictures) usually have bad complexion because of acne and the like. She is now...20, so that has improved. Wearing makeup doesnt necessarily ruin your complexion.

oh yes, im sure that she was forced to be a skater. im so sure of that *wink wink*. She is who she wants to be, and its the rest of the world who labels her.
