Zaghouan Roman Water Temple

Last week, as I were at home in Zaghouan I’ve taken my camera as usual and got to the roman water temple, the photos are not focused on the roman monument itself but also more about what’s up there around, as many peapole used to come just to relax nothing really to do with historical value of the site, when the coffe shop below is one of the most important attraction of the town.
The water temple was built by the romans as Tunisia was a dry country, the flow of water is canalised into aqueducts, till Tunis or what was Carthage(the picture in the stamp below), as the time were focalised into small handy tools, the aqueduct are really impressive, in fact it runs for more than 100 km from Zaghouan to carthage !
