The last friday December 20, the arabico-musimun nation have celebrated, the holy Eid Kabir (aka Sheep Eid), in the memory of our prophets, the wikipedia defintion says : "Eid ul-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى) is second in the series of Eid festivals that Muslims celebrate. Eid ul-Adha is celebrated as a commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail for Allah."

The Eid aims -as any holyday- to gather spiritual commun memory and feelings, the sacrifice of the sheep is nothing else an other occasion to link a family with their realtives for a such day, the fair atmsphere and the happiness are the colors that paints that holy day.

And as usual I have been at home as no body should be missing that day, else a very impressive reason.

First of all, my little brother as any kid, likes very much the sheep, till the day it was shipped to our home, "Khaled" haven't stopped playing with da beast reapting that childish expression we knew : "My allouch" wich means my sheep".

As we used to do, the sheep is killed with a knife as the tradition and religion indicates,"Manson" have already cut the throat of the sheep, and now, phase 2 is operative :

Now, he would pump into the beast -while its stillm warm- to push the air and so separate the body from the whooly skin, then he'll take the time -using the same knife- to completly remove that skin out, one that phase is over, he'll extract all the stomac contents.

The final phase to go and cut some meat -while mama is preapring the grill- and start the barbeque !

My brother was a little sad, but he know, that the sheep is not gonna dwell as a new toy...
