Red Grapefruit (الزنباع)

While shopping into Lafayette market yesterday, I was especially attracted by a Yellow fruit that coiuldn’t be either than a citruis, curious I have sold some three ones, and at home got the new discovery.
What I’ve brought was nothing else Red Grapefruit (الزنباع) (French: Le pomelo) some kind of orange with a solid Yellow texture, the red slices inside are not that delicious, in fact it seems that the red fruit is know for its healthy benificts.
The wikipedia defintion tells :The fruit was discovered in the 1750s probably in Barbados, currently the Grapefruit is said to be one of the “7 Wonders of Barbados.” [1] (http://www.barbados.org/grapefrt.htm). It had developed as a natural cross of the pummelo (Citrus grandis) with the sweet orange (Citrus sinensis), it is rather closer to the first than the second. Further crosses have produced the tangelo (1905), the minneola (1931) and the sweetie (1984). Previously known as the shaddock, it was not called the grapefruit until the 1800s. Its current name alludes to clusters of the fruit on the tree. It was not distinguished from the pummelo botanically until the 1830s when it was given the name Citrus paradisi. Its true origins were not determined until the 1950s. This led to the official name being altered to Citrus X paradisi.

Karim has published an interesting photo illustrating the latest advances in Tunisian motoring technology. Cars are to be fired vertically from secret underground silos in midtown locations; airborne, their trajectories will be managed using GPS. Plans for 2006 include roll-up-and-down of the product to the baby’s pram and market trader segments.

Me and my frined BluBlu got a very drinky night last staurday, Beer and Bokha were our suitable extesntion to our secret and mystreiuous world, to be true, BluBlu is the best one with whom I’ve shared my bottle ! Hoorah BluBlu I’ll never sit again holding my cup unless you’re on the table !
Mute, immobile, totally blue, BluBlu is the best expression of my girlfriend, unfortunally BluBLu seems to me more alive than my own human lovely girl … anyway BluBlu has advised me to keep quiet as long as the silence was the prime loudly scream deep inside my soul … thanks BluBlu !
