Lemeen innahdi : Rotting that rooster
I was in the front places as next as possible ! I was there ! for the first time I've got the chance to get to the famous town theatre to watch the glorious lameen Innahdi (frnech : Lamine ennahi arabic:الامين النهدي)one man show.
At 8 Oclock the ring has loudly announced the play's begin, the lighted turned off while on the scene blue spots are just getting born, the appluases started even before lameen entred in a four steps as if he were 20 years younger making the applauses more and more showing a respect of a legendary tunisian actor as long in Cinema as long in theatre and finally dwelling in the one man show are as the master of the plays.
I won't dive you details about the play, but I'll resume what have been ripped deeeply in my memory (did I get yesterday's dinner ???!!!); in fact the play is about Tunisia and Tunisians, our daily life, expressions of a tyrany and hope merging all the pains in the surface of a deep dark ocean of social illness, you'll certainly feel less pressure while hearing that monologue in wich Lemeen has engaed more than 40 living actor inside the same body.
Technically, lemeen has been able to fill the 1:30 play as much as the scene platform, with a lot of motion, so few decors, and a lot a lot of lighting effects, unless for some few seconds, the sound and music were not that usesfull thing. the text is excellent with the same words play and the backgrounding meanings.
In one word, go get you ticket and see a professionnal working, it would free your spirit for a while, enough to relax and sleep with no pain.
N.B : I 've translated "في هاك السردوك نريشو" into Rotting that Rooster, so if you've a better one tell me the right sentence.

I just can't agree more: Lamine Ennehdi is the best Tunisian actor alive!
