“Sidi Al Bahry” is one of the most poppular and cheap market in Tunis (Tunisia Main City), it’s located just some meters to Lafayette and some meters to Bab Souika the gate of the old Medina. at the both sides of that famous treet you’ll find a great choice of vetegables, fruits, meat and other merchandise at any day of the week, the open air markets is the leading streets that will take you from the metro railraod of Lyon avenue till “ali Behouene’s” bus station marking the begining of the old medina where you’ll finf the only coverd little market.
The prices are excellent compared to other markets such as Lafayette totally coverd market (next to champion stores), the fish and meat are always fresh as the market is so dynamic that somtimes at 2 p.m. you’ll find anything and as we say in Tunis “Sold everything and gone home” (باع و روح).
In the coming-over ramadan I recommand you this market in order to save money and pain finding everything at the same place.
