Photography records the gamut of feelings written on the human face, the beauty of the earth and skies that man has inherited, and the wealth and confusion man has created. - Edward Steichen
Last week, my cam got stolen, the details are meangningless as long as my Fujifilm 1400z is gone, during April 2004 when my blog was still greeny, the one megapixel with 32 SmartMedia Card was a real push-up for my little project, encaching my posts with photos and making me post based upon shots I take while roaming around, the was a time when me and the cam were illegally married always packed in my bag I used to move with spying eyes on evertyjing holding my finger on my trigger for the best takes.
Since I bought that old cam for 200 TND (about 150 USD=The half of my monthly salary) I have taken more 7000 photos, more than 200 peapole figured in and more than 20 months for a feeling of self-power.
The last time I've took my cam it was while having a trip to Tunis Sfax - Mednine - Sfax - SidiBouzid - Tunis that last 20 Hours (since 2h to 23 h) in a an IVECO van, and like evrytime I was shooting like a fool on everything, while I have reduced quality, the lost cam contained more than 110 shots, I remember exaclty the few last momments holding that smooth thing, that thing was like a part of my body: a third eye, a second head, somthing bitterly precious...
I'm know trying collecting a greater sum of money to get a new one, the only problem that locally -Here in Tunisia- i still don't find a good offer, so if you can help... Karim2k[at]Gmail.com
I still got my little Sweex 2300 in my pocket, the little bug takes obselete quality photos and is unable to do nothing with a weak light exposure.
