First day in Ramadan

Today was the first day in Ramadan, all along this holy month we will be fasting which means the stopping eating and drinking from the sunshine till the sunrise for every mature and able Muslim.
It was a long day, I was thirsty, but mentally safe, I like to do that even if … anyway, fasting is great and Ramadan is lovely month.
Ramadan is magic as the mastery of the body is a huge exercise where you hold up eating, smoking, drinking, … you feel the real worth of your being as a human, you feel how wise you are and how patient you can be, you give up your cheerful good morning black espresso and tiny cigarette !
I won’t tell you the joy when breaking the fasting at the sunrise after the prayer call ! that wonderful feeling of awareness and worth,you just eat well , get that damn coffee and smoke that b**chy cigarette.
Finally, even if you don’t do it by faith, it would be a very nice exercise for both your soul and body, think about it.
BluBlu Weclomes the new Celtia 6 beer Pack

Celtia (the monopolistic Beer company in Tunisia) have release a new 6 pack beer of 25 Cl each one, the whole pack well designed in a handled cartoon pack, the product costs 6,600 TND (about 5 USD).
It tastes good, almost like the old 35 Cl, a bit lighter unless the same product with a few tweaking, the effect is lighter too, if you are willing to turn drunk and start stinging stupid 90s tunes, you’ll have to swallow a whole 4 packs to get involved with the others, which makes it really a faulty product in a market where customers seeks a totally fun with less litters in the unlucky stomach.
It’s almost targeting ladies and new generation kinda drink-amerikanisch-beer-style, not the usual nuts like me or your father or brother, I can see many people enjoying it and that pretty cool.
Finally I can just enjoy it as far as the design is a heineken style, very friendly shape bottles and pack, you can even drink them in a middle of a public street and no one will notice that you are consuming alcoholic drinks.
“L’image revelee” Expo

I was yesterday in the opening of an audio video exposition titled “L’image revelee” (the reveled image) in dar Kheddddine in the heart of Tunis Medina.
I didn’t got there without Imed’s help as I don’t know pretty much about about the labyrinths of the media, once we got there we were very pleased to take a rest in the behind of the big palace where we were offered scheepse tonic with ice cubes.
The exposition is interesting, the ground floor was about very old Photos of Tunisia taken between 1907 and 1930, awesome collection of rare shots.
The upper floor contained the aim of the event, a set of expositions each one with a special title such as “sortilege” where I’ve met Madame Bousslema who is teaching arts in Nabeul and a talented photographer, the small cubicles contained various material such as animated videos, tied exposed photos and a special short film of Gastli Jalel where he runs of a car all through the southern Tunisia.
The exposition is still open till November 4th, beside a need for a guide or a map to get there, there are strange and interesting things to be seen.

Mouse Hunter : 3rd Birthday

Technically following the main archives Mouse Hunter Blog Achieves three years of full productivity, while it has begun a year later somewhere else without restoring the old posts.
So after three hard years where I have been a total jerk Tunisian blogger, I feel something inside me, I just feel happy that this project did keep working as I used to cut edges in mid way and let everything down to start something else nasty.
Looking back to this hill of texts and Photos I have plenty of memories, digitally existing and emotionnaly persisting in the deepest of my heart, that’s my baby and I should be the father …
I want to thank both Houssein (Rundom.com) and Hatem (Phpmagazine) for hosting my blog and enduring all the rubbish I throw within.
The come Back of tn-blogs

Our cheerful Tunisina feed syndicate is back with all its falvour, we can finally relax and have a clear view of the Tunisian Blogopshere. And thanks again to Houssein for his great work reconvering the whole data back, and thnaks for Hatem for helpinbg out with Dhifaf.

While Have written to this guy, inviting him to start a new photolog as I’ve noticed his nice works in flickr, he have just started a new blog bu his own like if our spirits communicated that emotion. The most impressive thing is the original design of Becem, welcome home son.
I’m just asking myself, is the southern counter attack ? I see more and more bloggers coming out sfax, we should do something, or we will be riding a Blue 89 motorbikes to get to meetups !

Tunisian Bloggers meetup 18

Last saturday we were about 10 to get in the meetup held in Biwa cafe, we were there me and a young Journalist at time (16 o’clock’) and we didn’t see the shadow of any blogger one hour later, when adib came with that laughing smile as usual with manel, then the later bloggers got small by small.
There was me, Adib, Manel (morrocco), Dismalden, STupeur, MetallicNadou, Yasmine, Infinty and an old man from the Tunisian travellers club.
I was very pleased to meet Manel a very cute Moroccan blogger she were very charming especially when talking at Moroccan, we did exchange a bunch of opinions about blogs and even photoblogs.
Infinity gave us her “taking in hand” projet, she is have very interesting plans as a rescue plan while rundom is down for a while.
Adid showed his last joujou a Digital samsung photo camera a must have of any blogger, he told us about his last adventures with pets.
We talk also about the new Tunisian Blogs syndicate and how far it can waiting for the come back of rundom, we have echanged some of the news of the shadowed bloggers and the new ones as usual, we did get fascination about Jutsuboxu photolog (Dislmal Den recrutee).
I have left very early at 19 oclock, while there was still 4 bloggers at 7 oclock AM in the airport to say goodbye !
The next meetup is scheduled in Ramadan, we will be inthe “Iftar” together.
