Wikipedia banned in Tunisia
Nov 24th
My beloved super useful with free and unlimited knowledge access Wikipedia was banned from Tunisia since yesterday, for the sake of god, freed us and ban the whole web, what’s going on ? who’s got this genius idea to cut millions of articles in tens of languages over the Tunisian Web ?
The point is that Wikipedia contains “controversial” articles about Tunisia published in “Le Monde” French newspaper, a set of some lines of texts, based a whole universe of knowledge freshly updated and maintained by thousands of volunteers over the world, graciously hosted and developed by WikiMedia, our very modest, even invisible, contributions feeding it’s base were already shameful, now we are totally naked in front of the crowd.
So, by the way grap your rage once for all , ban Google, Blogger, Flickr, Youtube , … in one word ban the web so we can feel freed from the pain.
Both of Ballouchi and mac125 are cheerly hosted in Tunisia, they even get paid from the ATI (National Internet agency) following the web traffic, two web sites where you can find nothing else scrappy content, stupid content and a lot of jerks roaming around, so why creating enlightened content ? what if we clone Ballouchi for a better web ? we can even earn money !
One word to ATI guys, your job is meaningless and you have a real hysteria about something valuable and open to the public, and this is incurable, God bless WikiPedia !
