Radio Tunisie Culture

The project was launched back in 2005 with a main goal to promote culture and compete with other private radio stations (Mosaique FM) and spread a culture in need, as the National radios turn into jukeboxes with void content, and a big lack of accuracy with the life style of the country.

The radio is located in the same building as the the national radio (Lafayette) broadcasts on the AM waves and the the satellite, the staff is made up with young crew, as matter of fact I knew some of them and I wished never knew any.

The radio doesn't have a website (a single and brief scarp in Wikipedia) nor an online stream (there is an unofficial stream), never gets involved or partnership or sponsor or initiate any cultural events, the program are boring and you can guess that nobody does listen to this station or even heard about.

I'm personally disgusted by the fact that we are pouring wine over the window for free and upset to see such lovely institution doing nothing while it can do much, I just want to know why the radio is not open to the world of culture in the heat of Tunisian cultural cuisine.

If this radio is wiling to get some audience it has a lot to do (as much as the others national radio stations beside RTCI) by having a website, an official stream getting more involved in the overground and especially underground of the cultural being of the country.

The radio is really needed now as ever with quite the same basic stuff it has today, I wish if they would involve some bloggers spread the word over the Internet and lead some intellectual events.
